Harold Schulz Construction

John Cannon, architect Marvin Herman and builder Harold Schulz worked together to design and build a stunning, contemporary residence in Water Tower Place for a successful, notable Chicago couple. Blending Art Deco, Biedermeier, French Empire and lots of color created a home which the clients are so pleased with, they still call, years later, to say how fortunate they feel living there.

Maple Island Log Homes

Cannon Frank and Maple Island Log Homes recently completed an 11,000 square foot log cabin in Michigan with many innovative details and unique features, still yet to be photographed.

Metzler Hull

Cannon Frank and builder Metzler Hull worked from the ground up on this Lincoln Park brownstone. Celtic features from the outside of the building were continued inside the residence, and are evident in the stone fireplace. This home was featured in Midwest Chicago Home and Robb Report Home Entertainment.

Murals

Simes Studios

Cannon Frank frequently calls upon the talents of Simes Studios to create custom murals for clients. In this residence, the dome was inspired by a Baroque decorated ceiling and features a very ornate trompe l'oeil framework with different mythological scenes. The painting in the Art-Deco themed theater lobby was inspired by a painting of Cleopatra by Tamara de Lempicka and rendered as a version of a Hollywood movie as if the original painting was painted from the movie. This home was featured in Home Entertainment magazine, Robb Report Luxury Home, Chicago Home and Garden, stylechicago.com and Spectacular Homes of Chicago.

"We enjoy working with Cannon Frank, as their projects are always very creative and challenging. [John Cannon] has a unique vision for a space and wonderful eye for detail and runs projects in a very professional manner." Cindy Simes, owner, Simes Studios
