House on the Edge of a Forest
Having lived with good quality design in their previous home, this professional couple wanted to "raise the bar" and focus on serenity, privacy and comfort, and increase the ability to add to their already impressive art collection. This full-time residence on Chicago's North Shore met and exceeded all of the client's expectations and needs.
By working with a neutral, earth-inspired palette, a sense of peace was achieved inviting the outdoors into the space. The home also fulfilled the clients' dream (and requirement) to allow unobstructed views into their surrounding abundance of nature. The final result was a stage in which they could present their innermost thoughts of peace, serenity, privacy and love for each other and their family.
To complement the selected furnishings and artwork, Cannon Frank designed the interior millwork and drapery, and worked with architect Marvin Herman on the remodel.

"John is a consummate professional and he's fun, too! The fact that John was able to design exactly what we wanted in our home continues to reward us."
